Based at Barnard College in New York City, the proxy is a magazine reflective of students of the African Diaspora. Not expecting a simple or obvious unification, the proxy hopes to illustrate various dimensions of student life in the United States by focusing on students from Africa and its Diaspora: Europe, North America, and South America.
